| Pelargonium & Geranium Society 2010 Annual Show |
The National Show of The Pelargonium and Geranium Society will be held this year at Capel Manor College on Saturday June 19th. The show is open to all, with classes for experienced and novice growers alike, as the Society seeks to encourage more people to get involved. Details of all the classes and the many trophies which are to be competed for can be obtained from John Green (Email: john @kjohngreen.plus.com). The show will be open to the general public from 12 noon and admission to it is free although there is a charge for admission to Capel Manor and its extensive gardens. Capel Manor is just off Junction 25 of the M25 and visitors can follow the brown tourism signs. It has 30 acres of gardens including a 17th Century Walled Garden, a former Chelsea Flower Show winning garden, a Japanese Garden, gift shop and restaurant. Within the show, in addition to a stunning display of the very best Pelargonium and Geranium plants, there will be book and plant sales and refreshment available throughout the day. There is ample parking space and good access for people with mobility problems. |
