Barnfield Pelargoniums.   The Scented Leaf Specialist

‘Birdbush Bonny’ (Barnfield)   ---   Sharp lime scented leaves that has soft mauve flowers with indigo shading.  Plant tidy and easy to grow.
‘Birdbush Bolero’ (Barnfield)   ---   Small tangerine scented leaves with mauve flowers.  A short jointed plant.
‘Birdbush Betty’ (Barnfield)   ---   Round leaves with an oriental citrus scent.  Has plum coloured flowers which stand high above the foliage.
‘Birdbush Abb & Mabb’ (Barnfield)   ---   A refreshing apricot scent with rough cut leaves.  Flowers mauve shading to plum coloured.  Plant has a very neat and tidy habit.

Brian and Pearl Sulman Pelargoniums

‘Double Doy’ (Mollie Hall)   ---   A Miniature Zonal cultivar with double shiny scarlet flowers on very dark foliage. 
‘Icon Doy’ (Mollie Hall)   ---   A Miniature Zonal cultivar with lovely single shiny scarlet flowers on very dark and very small leaves.

The following are new introductions to their 2008 / 2009 catalogue.

Regal Pelargoniums

‘Valerie Susan’ (Fred Hillier)   ---   A Regal cultivar that has dark maroon blotch on the top two petals, softer pinky bottom petals.  Upright habit, strong grower.  Has ‘Eileen Stanley’ in its parentage.
‘Alison Field’ (Fred Hillier)   ---   A Regal cultivar that has soft blush pink with small dark pink blotch on the top petals. Bottom petals have a pink hue leading into a white throat.  Pretty looking plant.
‘Ricky Susan’ (Teddy Cakebread)   ---   A Regal cultivar with a white flower on a compact plant. Light pink blotch on the top petals, clear white bottom petals.  Dark green foliage adds to the plants charm.

Angel Pelargoniums

‘Berkswell Fondant’ (Malcolm Harris)   ---   Small leaf, compact plant.  Dark pinky flower with light picotee edge.  Round medium green leaf. Good growing plant that looks most attractive with its crinkly edges. Picture Below:

‘Berkswell Gipsy’ (Malcolm Harris)   ---   Has a pink base colour, deep red blotch and heavily veined on all petals.  Has ‘Needham Market’ in its parentage.  Fairly short jointed.
‘Berkswell Trinket’ (Malcolm Harris)   ---   Deep maroon/velvet top petals going pink into its throat.  Lower petals are magenta with dark blotch and a white margin.  The deep cut leaf comes from its parent ‘Charmay Marjorie’. Picture Below:

‘Ricky Black Velvet’ (Teddy Cakebread)   ---   Dark flowered Angel with dark maroon top petals.  Similar colour on the lower petals but with lavender interspersed.  Good looking addition to the Teddy Cakebread collection.

‘Princess Abigail’ (Keith Bush)   ---   A Dwarf Zonal cultivar with double pale pink blooms on a plant with good zoned foliage.
Good Exhibition variety.
‘Quantock Perfection’ (Ken Dymond)      ---      An Angel cultivar with heavily frilled blooms of bright plum upper petals and pale pink lower petals. A stunning colour combination.

‘Fir Trees Pink Pom-Pom’ (Fir Trees Pelargoniums)   ---   A Dwarf Stellar cultivar with large double pink spiky blooms on golden foliage.
‘Fir Trees Janet’ (Fir Trees Pelargoniums))   ---   A Dwarf Zonal cultivar with semi double lilac blooms on a dark zoned leaf.  A Dwarf sport found on ‘Black Knight’.  Good Exhibition variety.
‘Fir Trees Jennifer’ (Fir Trees Pelargoniums)     ---      A Decorative Regal cultivar with typical ‘Garten Director Herman flowers, which have large rounded petals, purple uppers and white lower petals.  A sport from ‘Fir Trees Mark’ with good variegated foliage.
‘Fir Trees Val’ (Fir Trees Pelargoniums)   ---      A Basic Zonal cultivar with semi double blooms of cerise pink, with dark pink blotch to upper petals.
Slight mosaic markings on leaves.

‘Monty’s Magic (Hazel Key)   ---   A Regal cultivar with upper petals deep feathered wine/cerise, lower petals soft lilac deepening towards edge.  Raised by Hazel Key from ‘Montague Garibaldi Smith’.

‘Goldrush’ (Brian West)   ---   A Fancy Leaf cultivar with single golden tri-colour foliage.  A compact slow growing plant with the softest salmon pink flower.
‘Lavender Lindy’ (Hazel Key)   ---   A Scented Leaf Pelargonium with truly the best lavender scented leaf.  Small grey green round leaves with a compact bushy habit.  Bright mauve flowers that grows on arching sprays.
‘Hazel’s Finale’ (Hazel Key)   ---   A Decorative Pelargonium that has glowing scarlet flowers with black feathering on upper petals.  Cultivar has upright bushy habit which makes a good plant for Summer containers.
Whilst tracing the origins of the Regal Pelargoniums, Hazel used many crosses and this was the result of one of the last she did. Fibrex have always enjoyed growing it as part of the National Pelargonium Collection and they hope that you enjoy growing it too.

‘Ansbrook Mulberry Blotch’ (Annie Parmenter)   ---   A Dwarf Fancy Leaf cultivar that has single salmon pink blooms on Tri-colour foliage that is creamy white with green butterfly mark overlaid with deep pink (mulberry) medallion. 
‘Ken Lea Butterfly’ (Andrew Simmons)   ---   A Basic Fancy Leaf cultivar that has prolific pink double blooms on a strong growing plant. 
This plant is a green leaf butterfly version of the tri-colour cultivar ‘Ken Lea’. Picture Below:

‘Silver Lady’ (Brian West seedling)   ---   A Dwarf Fancy Leaf cultivar that has double blooms of very pale pink with lavender spots and splashes on Silver Leafs.
‘Silver Splash’ (Brian West seedling)   ---   A Fancy Leaf cultivar with large oblong blooms of pale pink with white eye.  Has Tri-colour foliage with deep bronze medallion.
‘Vectis Embers’ (Brian West seedling)   ---   A Dwarf Fancy Leaf cultivar that has double blooms of white with red spots and splashes on Silver Leaves. Picture Below:

‘Anna Lisa Pope’ (Martin Pope)   ---   A Regal cultivar with large off white blooms with large deep red blotch and feather on each petal fading through coral pink to the edge.  Will make a superb show plant.
‘Archie Pope’ (Martin Pope)   ---   A Regal cultivar with large frilly blooms of pale magenta with plumb blotch on each petal.  Short jointed plant, again will make a good show plant.
‘Zofia Pope’ (Martin Pope)   ---   A Regal cultivar with white fading to pink blooms with large red blotch on each petal.  A compact short jointed show plant. Picture Below:

‘Barbara Lambert’ (Steve Pollard)   ---   A Dwarf Stellar cultivar with single blooms of salmon pink with white eye.  Foliage is Silver Leaf.
‘Brian West Butterfly’ (Andrew Simmons)   ---   A Dwarf Stellar cultivar with Green Butterfly Leaf.  This is a Green Butterfly Leaf version of the Miniature Silver Leaf cultivar that the excellent hybridiser Brian West named after himself.
It has the same double stunning blooms of white fading out to red, but is much more prolific and has stronger growth.
‘Mrs. May Last’ (Steve Pollard)   ---   A Miniature Stellar cultivar with Silver leaf that turns Tri-colour with a mauve band in Winter.
A smashing Fancy Leaf Miniature with prolific semi-double blooms of magenta overlaid with deep red. Picture Below:

Grows well.
‘Dubai Star’ (Steve Pollard)   ---   A Basic Zonal cultivar that has huge very pale salmon blooms with dark salmon centre.  A cracking Basic.
